The NFL confirmed Wednesday that the six-time Pro Bowl linebacker ofBears LB Urlacher fined $100,000 for wearing sponsor hat - NFL - Yahoo! Sports
the Chicago Bears was fined $100,000 for wearing a cap during a league
function that promoted a sponsor not designated by the league.
Urlacher was fined for wearing a vitaminwater hat and drinking the
product while at his podium during Super Bowl Media Day.
NFL rules prohibit wearing gear that advertises any product that is not
an authorized sponsor. Gatorade is the NFL's official drink.
