hustle & flow

you know it's hard out here for a pimp.

after a long day of accounting for every debit/credit to the old corporate bank account, number, number, numbers, i'm exhausted cause i fell asleep last night at like 5am and hadda wake up for 10 for the mighty tax session and i'm tired and i try to sleep and the puppy needs a walk and the puppy needs food and i'm so tired i can't sleep, can't see straight, got a warm face from sun, yes sun and i try to sleep and i can't sleep so i browse shaw video on demand and find hustle and flow and check it out.

the movie's a little cheesy but it gives me some good shit, you got the scene where taryn manning cries cause she doesnt wanna suck dick anymore and the scene where djay gets dragged off by the cops which kinda hits home in a distant, "my best dude got nabbed by a swat team and hauled off 3 years ago and i hate picturing it but the movie made me" type of way and i got a sniffle or two out.

s'just the type of person i am. sniffles from motion picture cheese.

kinda reflecting on a shit week, everything sucks cause we're so busy and a friend i thought was a friend isn't really a friend and i always feel like somebody's watching me (could just be God) and it was also real good cause i got the phone block lifted and i heard from 'im every day this week til yesterday, no call yesterday then no call today and it's silly but i worry cause it's not like 'im you know i can handle two days without a call and i don't even expect them it's just that it's the norm and given his situation, when the norm no longer occurs you can't help but wonder what's up and i hope nothing is wrong i just hope nothing is wrong.

and i have the warm face. and no matter how many times i have a goddamned shower, for some reason i still feel like i need another. must be the hard water. if that's what the kids are calling it these days.
