gobbling up every last word of joseph campbell's seriously soul-feeding anecdotes and myth-telling, when he delivered this wonderful quote from nathaniel hawthorne:

and i dog-eared my beach-bruised, boat-battered and plane seat pocket-torn copy just to share it with y'all.
