from taipei

sitting here waiting for my flight to bangkok. it's like 630am taipei time, but 2:30 pm PST. i just experienced 22 straight hours of night and i feel like i'm floating.

yvr last... night? yesterday? this morning? i dunno. yvr was goofy, my dad half cut sitting by himself in the food court on the lookout for "barky", my brother's friend who was supposed to be on the same flight as us. he's just sitting there whistling to himself and every once in a while he spouts out something like: "serious merious!" while my mother and i just sit off in the corner pissing ourselves laughing at him and taking pics:

the flight was flawless, thought the food left a lot to be desired, no big surprise. taipei looks almost exactly like vancouver, rainy, humid, except there are chinese characters everywhere instead of english. i got these amazing pics as we descended:
